VA Platinum, if I apply and fail to hit the target do I get Gold until January 2025?

Sure if you live in Paris, it makes sense to get a train to Bordeaux as its less than 2 hours. However, if I've just touched down in CDG and want to go to Bordeaux it's a lot easier to fly vs the 4 hours on a train many of which include a change.

I wonder if you'll be able to book back to back sky-nest sessions. Will be very interested to see how this plays out, will it cannibalise their PE / J offerings?

I'll be really interested to see what premium they charge for direct flights. I've heard 25% which at todays rates would put Qantas at around 10k for a business saver fare. Think I'd rather go Qatar / Emirates / Singapore  for 8k or even Finnair for closer to 6k and spend the saved $ on a ho...
