Having already qualified for P anniversary in Oct I read this and thought why bother...? Being a LT Gold I think that's where I'll settle from now on and spread my hard earned $'s elsewhere and pay significantly less for a similar or better experience...

As a regular traveller on this route I will be pleasantly surprised if they actually get these newer planes with this configuration which wasnt detailed when the article was first published (hence my comment on a downgrade). It was detailed as the old configuration.

Qantas wonders why passengers with lifetime status are moving to other airlines. Here's a good example with a further downgrade of Qantas service because of poor management of their fleet coupled with Thai & Singapore flying multiple times a day to Asia.

My experience is where I needed to change dates on a DSC qualifying flight within the promotional period I did receive the DSC. Are people having issues registering on the Qantas site? I am continuing to get a message stating they have having issues and it wont go to the registration page.
